Patten Symphonette


The Patten Symphonette is comprised of approximately 50 advanced musicians from Patten College, Christian Cathedral and Patten Academy. The Symphonette performs several concerts a year which feature classical, sacred, gospel and pops repertoire. In addition, the Symphonette provides music for Sunday worship services at Christian Cathedral.

Orchestra I


Orchestra I is composed of over 40 junior high and high school students who are advanced in the instrumental performance. Fall, Christmas and spring concerts are performed by Orchestra I and include diverse programs from gospel to classical music. Students also participate in many ACSI music festivals, and many members have been named to various All-State Bands and Orchestras.

Orchestra II

Orchestra II is composed of elementary and junior high school students who are playing at the intermediate level or learning a second instrument.

Orchestra III/IV

Orchestra III/IV is composed of beginning elementary students learning an instrument for the first time.

English Handbell Choirs

Several handbell choirs meet weekly to prepare for special concerts and performances for community groups and at civic events.
