*Families with one or more children will pay tuition for each child according to the rates listed. Rates are calculated chronologically, from the oldest (first-child rate) to the youngest. For parents who plan to make monthly payments, an additional $50.00 Bookkeeping Fee is due with the first installment. Fall last installment is due no later than December 5th, and Spring semester last installment is due no later than May 5th.
Discount: Parents who pay tuition and fees in full on or before August 5th will receive a 5% discount on tuition for the year.
Tuition will cover basic educational costs, such as salaries, administrative costs, building and equipment maintenance, utilities, classroom expense, educational materials and programs for all grades and includes textbooks for kindergarten through sixth grade. All students grades K-12 will be provided with testing materials, arts and crafts, library resources and services that are administered yearly to provide a basis for evaluating the educational progress of each student. All fees are nonrefundable.
An Application Fee of $30.00 must accompany each enrollment application. A student cannot be tested or considered for enrollment until this fee is paid.
An Enrollment Fee of $130 for each new student is due once a new student is accepted. The balance of tuition and fees is due on or before August 5th. Continuing students pay a $100.00 Re-Enrollment Fee which is due on or before April 15th.
A Bookkeeping Fee of $50.00 is charged for the year for those parents paying by the month. This fee is due with the first installment.
Late Fees: See contract for explanation of extensions on tuition and late penalties. Parents who sign up for a payment plan need to make consistent payments according to their agreed upon contract.
Textbooks: Junior High and High School Students, grades 7-12 should plan to pay an additional $300 - $400 per year for Textbooks. Textbooks are provided for Grades K-6.
Uniforms: All students grade K-12 are required to purchase their uniforms. The cost of uniforms is approximately $200 - $300. P.E. uniforms $50.00 (Grades 7-12).
Athletic Fee: $50.00 interscholastic sports participation fee applies whether a student competes in one or all three seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring).
Fundraising: Each student is expected to participate in at least one fundraising effort to raise a minimum of $150.00 per school year. Any student who does not participate will be assessed a $150 nonparticipation fee.
Private Music Lessons: Private lessons are optional and can be arranged with teachers at their hourly rate.
Instrument Rentals: We offer a limited number of instruments to be rented at $165 per year. Fee is due before your child receives his or her instrument.
Music Registration Fee: $40.00 fee is paid per year.
Graduation Fees: Seniors is $60 and 8th Grade Graduates $40, due on registration.
Emergency Earthquake Kit: Parents are required to purchase one kit per child through the school. Kits will be stored on campus and have a shelf life of 5 years. Cost is $16.00 per kit.
Field Trips: Fees for field trips vary according to grade level and event. Parents will be notified in advance by their child's teacher about upcoming trips.
Patten After School Service (PASS): Patten has a daycare program before and after school (Fees are not included in tuition). If you are interested in this program, please contact the Patten Academy office. All students are required to be under supervision while on campus. Any student left on campus before 8:15 am or 15 minutes beyond pick up time will placed in daycare and the parents will be billed.
PROVISIONS
Music is offered to students grades 4-12. Students are encouraged to get involved in "Music at Patten." We offer choir, bells and orchestras.
All students grades K-12 will be provided with necessary resources, services and testing materials that will be administered annually to provide a basis for evaluating the educational progress of each student.
Each student K-12 is covered with Medical Insurance which covers them while they are at school; travel to and from school for school-sponsored activities.

Christian Cathedral Member Discount: A grant of 25% is given to active members of Christian Cathedral who have been in good standing for a minimum of one year prior, who regularly contribute their tithes and offerings, support the building fund program and attend the two annual fundraising dinners.
