In order to receive this award the student must maintain a GPA of 3.70 - 4.00 for one semester.Honor Roll (K-12)

This award is given to students who have maintained a grade point average fo 3.00 - 3.29 for one semester.
These awards are granted to seniors who have maintained Honor Roll status for the first seven semester grading periods. Grades received for the spring semester of the senior year are not included in the determination of these awards:
Summa Cum Laude: 3.750 - 4.000 Cumulative GPA
Magna Cum Laude: 3.500 - 3.749 Cumulative GPA
Cum Laude: 3.200 - 3.499 Cumulative GPA
Achievement Certificate (K-12)
A certificate is given to the student in each area who has attained the highest degree of achievement in either math or reading and language arts areas as reflected in his/her testing scores and classroom performance throughout the school year.Attendance Certificate (K-12)
To receive this award, a student must have no absences or tardies throughout the school year.Citizenship Honor Roll (9-12)
To be on this honor roll, a student must have all A's and B's in citizenship for one year.Gold A (12)
To be eligible to receive this award, a student must have a 3.5 GPA average for four years.Math Certificate (K-12)
In order to receive this award the student must have exhibited an outstanding degree of achievement in math throughout the school year.Music Award and/or Certificate (5-12)
To receive this award the student must have exhibited an outstanding degree of improvement on his or her instrument and must have contributed to the overall sucess of the Academy Band, Academy Orchestra, or Youth Choir.Presidential Academic Fitness Honor (6, 8, 12)
Awards are given at three grade levels to students who are graduating from elementary school (6th grade), middle or junior high (8th grade) and high school (12th grade). Students who fulfill all criteria listed below qualify for the Presidential Academic Fitness Award. A student to be eligible must:
- Have a B+ average in all course work for the last years. B+ is composed of all years in school including the fall semester of the graduating grade. A B+ is equivalent to a 3.3 on a 4 point scale or 85 on a 100 point scale.
- A student must achieve a standardized test battery score in the 80th percentile. The battery must be from the current or preceding academic year and include both verbal and mathematical skills. Nationally standardized college admissions examinations, such as SAT or ACT, may be used for the high school award.
Promotion Certificate (K and 8)
These will be presented to the kindergartners entering primary. The eigth graders who are leaving junior high and going into high school will receive a promotion certificate.Reading Certificate (K-12)
To receive this award a student must have exhibited an outstanding degree of achievement in reading throughout the school year.Safety Patrol Certificate (5-6)
To receive this award a Safety Patrol member must have contributed to the team spirit, always kept the high Patten Academy standards of promptness, neatness, and good grooming, and have shown a willingness to go beyond the call of duty.Scholastic Honor Roll (9-12)
To be on the Scholastic Honor Roll, a student must have a 3.5 GPA average for one year.Silver A (10-12)
To be eligible for this award, a student must have a 3.5 GPA average for two consecutive years.Spelling Certificate (K-12)
To receive this award a student must have a perfect spelling score throughout the school year or be one of the spelling finalists in the school's annual spelling be.Sweet Spirit Certificate (K)
This award is given to the student who has shown a sweet spirit by being a peacemaker, cheering up others and helping in the classroom.Uniform Certificate (K-12)
To receive this award, a student must be in perfect uniform throughout the school year. He or she must not have any notices for infraction of the uniform policy.
